VAUDE employs 536 people. Employees include all individuals with permanent or fixed-term contracts, interns, trainees and regular and temporary employees with marginal employment (mini-job) contracts in this figure. Employees on parental leave are not included. Of our employees, 355 are female and 181 are male. The working hours of the total workforce correspond to 428 full-time positions.
In 2018 (as of 31.12.2018), VAUDE had 469 permanent employees with unlimited contracts. This refers to employees who are neither hired as part of an apprenticeship or internship, nor as seasonally limited temporary workers, nor have an employment contract limited in time for a substantial reason. Of these employees, 318 are women and 151 are men. 253 work full-time, 216 part-time. This corresponds to a full-time equivalent of 365.15.
At VAUDE, the majority of employees have permanent contracts. No freelance or contract workers are used for essential company activities. One person was employed as a temporary worker in 2018. In general, we look for opportunities to employ these individuals permanently after successful collaborations. There are no significant seasonal fluctuations in personnel at VAUDE.
