Solar energy "made by VAUDE"

The photovoltaic system on the VAUDE premises generates enough electricity (directly and indirectly) to meet 99 percent of our needs.

VAUDE electricity is fed into the public electricity grid

VAUDE has operated several large photovoltaic systems on its company roofs since 2008.

In 2013, the second stage was implemented on the warehouse built in 2011. This roof area is leased to an external operator.

VAUDE as a power producer

99 percent of company needs are covered (directly or indirectly)

All systems together generated a total of 535.152 kWh of clean and regional green power in 2013. This has allowed VAUDE to cover 99 percent of its electrical needs at the Obereisenbach location. At least theoretically: as required by the "Renewable Energy Act" (EEG), the electricity we make is fed into the public power grid and sold to the utility company.
