Extensive random sampling for greater product safety

No Internal random tests in our Harmful Substances Management Program exceeded legal limits. However, the very strict limits of the VAUDE RSL continue to pose a challenge for the textile supply chain.

Some of our products were thoroughly examined and evaluated by consumer magazines in 2015. Any harmful substances found were far below legal limits and even the more stringent VAUDE limits. This shows that the consistent monitoring of our supply chain works well. However, the findings also show how important the systematic monitoring of health and safety aspects in our complex supply chain are.
