Environmental protection has a very high priority at VAUDE. Therefore, we are investing in making our business even more ecological. We have our Environmental Management System verified and certified by EMAS.

In Obereisenbach, we examine our use of water in the EMAS and ISO14001 audits. For progress in the supply chain, we rely on the bluesign® and the Higg index.

It is impossible to do without energy entirely. But we try to reduce energy consumption and switch to renewable energies as much as possible. We have been successful, and that is something we are proud of.

We manufacture products that our customers use not only for sports, but also to enjoy the beauty of nature outdoors. Conserving biodiversity, therefore, is important to us.

We have been able to reduce emissions with a variety of projects, both large and small. Emissions that we cannot avoid are compensated for.

No industrial wastewater is produced at our facilities in Tettnang. Waste is properly disposed of or sent for recycling. We do not currently have reliable data for our supply chain.

In a globalized world, you’ve got to have mobility. We want to reduce the emissions that we generate from travel and transport by choosing the smartest means of transport.

We want to learn from our suppliers, customers and organizations, and view complaints and/or grievances as suggestions for improvements

Since 2013, we have been using recycled paper almost exclusively. And generally, we look towards eco-friendly purchasing. For this purpose we have also voluntarily committed ourselves to adhering to guidelines.
