Mobility Lottery Incentive

The best-written mobility concept doesn’t save emissions – it has to be put into practice and then filled with life. VAUDE has therefore introduced a Mobility Lottery to motivate as many employees as possible to leave their cars at home.

Every week employees who do not commute alone in their cars are eligible for a prize drawing. Each employee enters their name on the chart in the VAUDE intranet. This chart also serves to measure the amount of kilometers not commuted in one’s own car.

Our employees can enjoy winning prizes such as restaurant coupons, vegetarian cookbooks, bike accessories and even electricity meters for their home use. And this ensures that “environmentally-friendly and cost saving commuting” is a favorite topic of conversation in our hallways.

Our goal is by 2015 to reduce emissions arising from commuting by ten percent. The outstanding balance of emissions is offset by a myclimate compensation payment and is therefore counted as carbon neutral in our CO2 footprint - see "climate neutral at the Tettnang location".
